Harakeke cultivar. Gregory Collection, Kaitaia; see also Huiroa and Rautakiri. All very narrow leaved flaxes. Long and dark green in colour. Grows mostly in shady places. Leaf can be jerked off pūtake (butt) and when put through flame becomes soft and easy to tie.
