Harakeke cultivar

1) Selwyn 1847; Found at Maungatautiri. One of Tīhore class of flaxes, can be scraped with nail.

2) Williams 1971 a fine subvariety of Tīhore.

3) Best 1942; no description.

4) Heaphy, West Coast, in Flax Commissioners Report 1871: Yields best fibre. Good for cordage.

5) Andersen 1926; listed
