1) Best 1908 and 1942: a swamp growing variety

2) Haultain, Otaki, Manawatu. Flax Commissioners Report 1871: Appendix IV: Variety of harakeke that grows on the edge of swamp. Like Tuhora but shorter leaves. Not a "Tīhore" flax.
