Kete containing various articles found in cave. Contents:1) several bundles of dressed flax, two dyed black. 2) two small mats just commenced. 3) red paint in paua shell 4) two albatross bones, prepared for flutes. 5) several pieces of dogskin. 6) bag (pukoro) used for expressing tutu fruit, half full of kokowai (red ochre soil). 7) small bag containing piece of kauri resin masticatory. 8) two pairs of sandals (pāraerae) made from tī. 9) Bundles of down from large alpine Celmisia made into mats. 10) Small parcel of Celmisia viscosa, pleasant smell. Also packet of fragrant gum of Pittosporum. 11) hank of flax threads (aho). 12) fragment of flax whitebait net. 13) part of tī root. 14) small bunch of albatross feathers. 15) kakapo feathers 16) mussel shells for preparing flax.
