Kūmara cultivar. One of Waīna variants. European pre-1900. Lighter purple skin (than Owairaka Red), yellow flesh, no purpling. Leaves and root illustrated in Yen 1963: 34,38-39. One of cultivars sent to Japan for safekeeping in 1966 (Yen 502). Returned 19 November 1988.
