Description
Harakeke cultivar. Very tall, up to 3 metres. Tapering blades pale blue green in colour. No kōrari. One of varieties sent from Taranaki to the Botanic Gardens, Wellington in 1870. Identified by Mrs. Orchiston in 1972.
Fibre
Not very good fibre. Recorded as being used for cordage, netting, fishing lines.
