Harakeke cultivar.

1) New Zealand Department of Agriculture 1908; Erect variety 8"-10" high. Even leaf. Butt little thicker than top. Good return of fibre per ton of green. Multiplies quickly, throws up numerous shoots.

2) Drysdale & McGregor 1910; Variety experiments at Weraroa, Department of Agriculture. Seeds brought from Taranaki. Seedlings not so widely varied as others. Variety highly prized by Taranaki Māori.
