P.113. Hinemihi of Whakatane prepared herself to visit Tutetawha (Ngāti-Apa) who was living at Karangahape (Motutara Pā). After putting on her garments, she took out her calabash of sweet scented oil - tarata (Pittosporum eugenioides), tāwhiri (gum of P. tenuifolium), mokimoki (Doodia baudala sic. = Doodia mollis), taramea (Aciphylla squarrosa) and tītoki.
