Article on Candida albicans and a treatment using a capsule called Kolorex. Kolorex contains polygodial from horopito (Pseudowintera colorata) with aniseed. It is reported that when anethole, the active anti-bacterial ingredient in aniseed, was combined with polygodial a 32 fold increase in its activity against Candida albicans was recorded.
