Tara is Port Nicholson.
p.147. Kupe and followers moved from Wellington Harbour to Sinclair Head, which they named Te Rimurapa. Used quantities of rimurapa (bull kelp) to store food.
p.167. When canoe Takitimu was at Te Awa-a taia (on Wellington harbour) being relashed, the gum of houhou (Pseudopanax arboreus) worked into lashing holes.
