Ngā Rauropi Whakaoranga

Toi. Apparently a toadstool (Best 1942). Applied to kind of toadstool that grows in deserted huts, etc. A Taupo word. Probably not a Tūhoe word (Best 1907).

A species of fungus with a conical head that grows about deserted dwellings (Williams 1971)
