Natusch Sheila 1989, October. A Postcard from Ulva. Archifacts
Notes
Article on Charles Traill, a naturalist who lived in Ulva, Paterson Inlet, Stewart Island. Probably sent the flax, koromiko and mānuka planted by his brother William on Orkney Island, Scotland. Natusch reports that (for a time) local muttonbird scrub leaves (Brachyglottis rotundifolia) could be sent as postcards.
