For feast, "large kelp baskets of preserved tītī from Stewart Island...Totara bark cases of kereru and koko (parson-bird) from Tūhoe-land, Galatea, and Taupo...Taro from Whakatane... Kūmara from everywhere... Mussells, eels, shellfish, pigs etc from various districts." Dessert - "steeped tawa berries and some fernroot, the latter from Te Rangi- Karipiripia, of Ngaroto, near Atiamuri." Fine flax and kiekie sleeping mats.
