Parsons Murray 2000. Māori lore of part of central Christchurch - some ancient tī kōuka (cabbage trees). Canterbury Botanical Society 34: 35
Notes
A note on an old pa site, Puari, in central Christchurch. A very old tī kōuka grows on this site beside the Avon. There is another old tī within the enclosed courtyard beside the Council Chambers and another old ring tī kōuka in the Law Courts area.
