Seed fats of 5 species of Cordyline and 2 species of Phormium shown to be similar in fatty acid composition. Linoleic acid = 75-89%, oleic acid = 5-16%, palmitic acid = 3-11%, stearic acid = 1-3%. (Linoleic acid gives semi-drying properties to an oil and is an essential fatty acid in nutrition).
